THE BAND KOFI & CROWN OF GLORY have 11 members, Kofi Tompson (Lead vocals, keyboard) Robert Myers (Bass gtr.) Emanuel Adama (Drums) Blay Ebenezer (Keyboard) Theo Bampoe (Vocals, percusions) Anna Myers (Vocals) Janet Bampoe (Vocals) Emanuel Nickson (Vocals) Celia Taylor (Vocals) Monica Alariba (Vocals) and Nancy Thompson (Vocals). The band intermixes Africa Cultural rhythms with contemporary gospel music to bring to the table a unique and irresistible sound of praise and worship. The band has recorded 27 original songs on 2 albums. The first is "WORSHIP OF THE SAINTS" and was released in 2006. The CD has 15 songs, songs like Rhythm Of Praise which we sing about how God is honored in every tribe and tongue (Psalm 19:1-4). like "Take This Heart Of Mine" is a song of dedication of self to Christ our Lord (Proverb 3:5-6 lean not on your own understanding but acknowledge Him in all your ways). On the 2nd CD we recorded 12 songs of declaration. Songs like "All Is Mine" is based on (Psalms 24:1 1 Corinthians 3:21) about the authority of the believer. Songs like "So Amazing" is based on (John 1:1-14) leaning on His word is like building your house on a rock. SHOWS Upcoming and recent shows have been added to this press kit on the SHOWS section. About Kofi Thompson Kofi Thompson is a music producer, composer, keyboardist, lead vocalist of the Crown Of Glory. Born in Ghana now based in the U.S. With over 20 years of experience as a accomplished musician, having the opportunity to play with most of the top bands/stars in Ghana and beyond. Stars like Isaac Hayes, Hugh Masekela, Rev, Thomas Yawson, Tagoe Sisters, lucky Dube, and many more. Kofi Thompson serves as a music minister at True Light Worship Center (wmm) in Clinton, Maryland. Also a student at World Missions Minstries Bible College, preparing for Ministry.
